Plain-English summary of what we hold, why, and your rights.

Who we are

Forecourt Ready is operated by Hubert Wilczynski and Ben Sutton, based in Ireland. We are the data controllers. Questions or requests: hubert@forecourtready.ie.

Outreach to dealerships

If we email your dealership, we use business contact details (name, role and business email) taken from publicly available business listings. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): introducing a relevant business tool to motor dealers, in a way we expect to be proportionate and unintrusive. You can opt out at any time — reply "STOP", use the unsubscribe option, or email us — and we will not contact you again.

The "Book a demo" form

If you submit the form, we collect the name, dealership, email, phone and message you provide, and use them only to arrange your demo. This is emailed straight to us; it is not stored in any database or shared for marketing.

Demo links

Each demo link is unique to the dealer it was sent to. When a link is opened we record the time and number of visits, plus a one-way hashed fingerprint of the visitor's IP and browser (which does not identify you personally), so we know whether the demo was useful. This is kept for about 90 days, then deleted.

Who processes data for us

We use a small number of service providers strictly to run the above: our email host and outbound mail filter (DNS Ireland / antispamcloud), our website host (Vercel, served from the EU), and the demo's link-analytics store (Upstash). We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

Keeping it

We keep dealership contact details until you ask us to stop or they're no longer relevant; demo-request details for as long as needed to follow up; and demo-link analytics for about 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or object to us using it, at any time — email hubert@forecourtready.ie and we'll act promptly. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
